Fire Pumps

Conventional Fire Alarm Systems

Fire hydrants are most commonly used water-based suppression systems for general fire fighting requirements. Automatic water sprinklers are used where quicker responses are required. Automatic gasbased systems are used to protect expensive industrial equipment. CO2, FM200 & NOVAC1230 are commonly used fire extinguishing gases. Larger applications also employ foam based suppression techniques. Rakshak promotes the appropriate usage of these systems for greater risk coverage and reduce damages due to a hazzard.

Analog Addressable Fire Alarm Systems

It is a system, which detects fire early, where in all loop devices in the system are individually addressed to provide the panel with absolute unique identification of each device. The system monitors any changes caused by dust or smoke, and then adjust the calibration accordingly to maintain each sensor at its original sensitivity. The system carries out a Self-Test automatically every 24 hours and as well as separate sensitivity for day and night. The system can be integrated along with building management system, CCTV and Access Control systems ensuring towards total safety and security at one central monitoring station.

Fire Hydrant & Sprinkler System

The Hydrant System comprises of AC motor driven pump sets with all required accessories including valves, instrumentation and controls etc. Complete in all respects. An automatic hydrant system is furnished covering the areas completely from independent. Pipe work from the fire water pump set. The hydrant pipe work is remaining pressurized through the proposed jockey pump taking care of any leakages in the system pipelines, valves and fittings. The hydrant system is kept charged by pressurized water at approx. 7 Kg. Cm. Sq. at all times. In the event of fire when any of the hydrant valves in the network is opened, the resultant fall in pressure system is enabling starting the AC MOTOR driven fire water pumping set through pressure switches automatically. One diesel engine pump shall be standby pump serving hydrant system. Apart from the automatic starting of the pump sets, provision shall be kept for manual starting also. Shutting down of the pump sets shall be manual.

CCTV & Surveillance Systems

This is a system whereby we have an visual monitoring of different areas with add on sound features to get output on PC, TV or dedicated monitor. As per the requirement at site, we have to select different types of cameras and lenses which serves as a proof for future analysis. Advanced systems also employ motion detection algorithms for automatic detection and recording thus incorporating intrusion detection with surveillance.

Access Control System

To enhance entry to right people for right purpose, the importance of access control system has gained momentum. The system hands over a card or code to every individual which restricts access to authorized areas at authorized times. This system has a programmable panel which is the heart of the system. The reader reads the signal through the card being swiped or shown. This system can be standalone or PC based and also it is for time in/time out or time and attendance.

VESDA Systems

The key benefit of aspirating smoke detectors is that they can detect smoke before it is visible to the human eye. Standard point detectors generally do not detect smoke until it is visible, meaning that a fire can be well underway before any action is taken. Another problem with standard point detectors is that they cannot be positioned too close to electronic equipment such as computer servers because of the negative electromagnetic effects they cause. The VESDA detector on the other hand, can be run directly above the server, or even inside a sealed server cabinet. In the event of a server overheating and an electronic component beginning to smoke the VESDA detects the problem in less than thirty seconds, alerting staff that there is a problem before it becomes a bigger threat.

Kitchen Suppression System

The fire suppression system helps to reduce the potential devastation of a fire incident significantly. Not only that, as the system only uses chemical suppressants, it becomes easier for the workers to clean up the space. Normally speaking, this system puts out the fire in such a way that in most cases, only one cooking station and food gets affected in such fire incidents. The system is easy to install, and if you plan it properly, you can skip chemical contamination of the suppressant agents in the other food available in the kitchen.

Fire Door

When closed, they form a barrier to stop the spread of fire. When opened, they provide a means of escape. Fire doors are specialist doors which have been tested against the elements and purpose-built to withstand roaring fires for as long as possible. They enable buildings to compartmentalize and delay the spread of fire from one area to another, and form a crucial part of a passive fire protection strategy

Fire Extinguisher

Aside from the need to be compliant with local legislation, there are a number of reasons that fire protection equipment is important. You need to make sure your employees have adequate protection when they need it. A fire extinguisher is a great option because they are small and easy to operate. This means that most of your employees will be able to use it. If you have working fire extinguishers available on your property, this will increase the chances of small fires being contained before they cause significant damage. This will save you money in repairs and replacements in the future.
